Channel 6 Video Pan Servo
Someone may have done this already, but I thought I would share an idea that I have had. I placed another servo into the side of my A/P platform, a GWS Beaver, and attached my video cam to the servo arm. I changed the GWS 4 channel reciever to a GWS 6 channel and hooked up the servo on the flap channel #6. Now I can pan the forward looking camera straight down or back up to the horizon while in flight. I used my EPA to fine tune the angle of the camera so as not to angle up to high and see the wing. The servo pans smoothly and I will test it out in the morning.
