I never saw a weapon at any school I went to.
We never had resident cops.
The schoolyards weren't fenced in and off-limits on weekends..
Maybe it's not weapons -on- campus, but the ease with which the irresponsible breed, and generate problems which take their problems to schools... ?

Obviously you haven't seen Bowling for Columbine - that was featured.

IIRC the Columbine kids did adopt that Matrix technique of as using many many weapons - fits with the whole nutjob theme.

Half the pickups in the parking lot had either a 30 06 or a 12 gauge in the rear window at some schools around here. Come to think of it people were a lot more courteous on the road then too! David

Yep, saw it on BFC-just didn't have the means to post it. Obviously it's not real world as anyone who carries can tell you.. "Is that a shotgun, a peg leg, or are you just happy to see me?", "Excuse me sir, you dropped three of your gats while running to the schoolbus" etc.

I agree, the problem is with the quality of children we raise these days and what we choose as acceptable for them to be exposed to. The vid itself is more meant to scare busy soccer moms into going for the idea of a dress code.

That demo. of how you can conceal a ton of wepons is propaganda. How are you going to walk around with a rifle in your pants leg, please! And I doubt that you could walk around with 7 guns in pants waste line with out some sort of holder.

It isn't the sheer number of weapons, it's the ease with which that amount of them could be concealed.. Any single one of those, except for the "gauge" is so easliy concealable.. even the S&W M29.. Dirty Harry's favorite.. and the Mac-10.
Loose clothes do aid the concealment.

There just trying to impress the recruiters (armed forces)....

Mine too, which means we're showing our ages

I was on my high school rifle team and our gun range was in the basement of the school and I even got to love the smell of cordite

Better yet, I owned several guns of my own by the time I was 16 (bought for me by my dad). I kept them all in my closet (didn't have to have "permission" to touch them). I also kept some bricks of .22's as well as .357 ammo for my pistol in the same closet (no gun safe to keep THIS teenager away from my own guns).
And not once did I ever, even in my darkest teenage moments, ever have it occur to me that I should go around shooting people.

Here's "The Clue": It aint' the guns, people!!!.

Propaganda at best. Ridiculous at worse. Both in reality.

BFC was a very well put together and entertaining lie. Moore, no doubt would have been a very well paid film producer in the Soviet Union.
