You have can motors that want 12V.
LVC will happen if your pack surges below 5.4V even for a second. If both are pulling 12V and you are in parallel then you will be pulling a fair amount of amps out of that ESC.
Best way to measure is a watt meter and see what voltage you drop to when both motors are pulling full throttle, and see the amount of amps TOTAL that you are pulling.

Sounds like you have a bad cell in that pack, since it worked before and nothing has changed. But you should be able to tell by looking at the cell voltages - do you have a checker?

Also try the other pack and let us know.

it sounds like ESC overload. Try reducing load by disconnection each motor in turn. That may tell you two things:

1) if one of the motors is bad

2) if the reduced load will let the ESC run

If the motor are alike, but you have a positive on 2), then you must determine if the battery has lost it's guts and the ESC cuts out due to low voltage (try another batt) or if something else is drawing excessive current and the ESc is cutting out due to high current - Possibly a small short somewhere, anything getting warm? Connectors, connections, wires?

CORRECTION:
I edited my previous post (#8370) to show that the two brushed motors only want 12 AMPS ea. Hence my surprise that their combined draw would overload a 30A ESC. I misled you on this, Shadrack. That was a misstatement. Sorry.

HAPPY ENDING:
I charged the batt from the 6.5V reading up to the normal 8.4V. .....PERFECT !
The 480 long cans are humming contentedly!

I took the original motors out and replaced them with twin brushless 400's running a 9x6 prop. This plane screams and will fight any wind. At full throtttle on hand launch its hard to hold on to. Running dual 18A ESC's and can get 12-13 minutes with a 20A total current draw on a 2200ma battery. I took it another step further and modified the battery cover to hold a Go-Pro camera and the viseo is pretty cool. Where would I share this?

Nice, What motors did you use?

Twinstar will also take a 5000Mah easily, so you can enjoy longer flights.

But to get back on topic, your TwinStar sounds more like an EasyStar (or Bixler / Skywalker pusher thingy)? And what camera is that? Nice resolution, but no GoPro horizon bending...

Sorry, that was my skywalker video. I had a twinstar that I retired about 3 months ago. Couldn't get the amps down with 2 motors below 9 amps with all the gear. Plus the compartment for all the gear was a lot smaller.
I have video done with the TSII which was a great platform, just once you put in a 5100 battery, plus all the equipment stuffed together, it is harder to separate components for interference sake, etc. That is the gopro hero2 set to 1080P but at the narrower FOV.

I think you're both right in a way. Until recently you cud only get a link to YouTube but about six month back (?) they changed it to the new format.

I have behaved and only gotten one more new plane last month (not the predicted Skywalker, though). I am having a lot of fun with my modified EasyStar: The FPV "EasyTwin" has been seriously lost twice and come back now, so I'm considering re-naming it to "Multiplex Boomerang". My TwinStar, however, is still my favourite, but I'm saving her for some less risky missions.
