The control horns delivered with the TS2 are just fine for normal use of the TS.
Just be shure they are mounted properly.
It's a good thing to lightly sanding the gluecontact surfaces with a 400 or 600 sandpaper before glueing them to the elapor.
I'm also using normal CA glue for them. Not medium, slow, or foam safe CA.
Mounting them this way I've Never had any problems with them.

Thanks for the feedback regarding the horns guys, I have the CA that's recommended for MPX foam, and I'll remember to key the surfaces first. Now about those pushrods?

Same as for the control horns, the original TS pushrods works just fine.
Just carefully read and follow the manual on installation and You can't go wrong. It's all in the effort You want to put in.

Flew my TSII in the highest winds so far for me. 12mph! They were in direct cross to my sort of runway. When it came time to land, the winds started to gust, but the TS (totally stock) handled the cross winds fine. It wasn't the most gracefull of landings, but hey no extra pieces!

I have all the parts for an upgrade to brushless, in fact I've had the parts for over a year, but the bird flies just fine stock, so at this point the upgrade will just have to wait.

Its totally fun to fly.

Finally got my Twinstar 2 ready to FPV but I had a quick question.

I am using this motor:

With these props:
GWS 8040X3 Standard Rotation Propeller
GWS 8040X3R Reverse Rotation Propeller

Doing a watt test the plane wanted to move forward so I think my props are on right and my motors are spinning in the right directions.

But just to be clear, which direction are each of the motors supposed to spin and which motor gets the reverse rotation prop?

Also isnt the reverse rotation prop going to unscrew itself?

Hi, I have seen the props turn both ways on real aircraft, it doesn't seem to matter, though, I am sure someone will argue with that. Be sure to use Locktite, or simalr on the reverse pictch propnut. Have fun...Tony

If you're using one each of the props you have described (i.e. one standard rotation and one reverse) the motors have to turn in opposite directions.

The one with the standard rotation prop should turn counterclockwise as you look at it from the front of the plane.

Edit: hard to be sure from your pics., but it looks like you might have reverse rotation props on both motors ... mounted back to front?

Numbers molded on your props should face forward, you've got to see them if you look at them from the front of your TSII. If you use one normal and one reverse prop they have to turn in opposite directions. If both are either normal or reverse ones than they have to turn the same direction.

Thanks guys, I am using one normal and one reverse. They are both facing forward. I will be sure to make sure they turn in opposite directions with the standard prop spinning counter clockwise.
