Everything is packed nicely (not much risk of damage with an Elapor model ):

hello!! I ordered it, it seems really to be very good ... much prettier than the twinstar 1 moreover! I hope to put at it servos naro std of gws for the ailerons and the gws naro pro for the elevator and the rudder. will that go? for had the accumulators, I thought of nimh kan 2000 mah in 8 elements.... it's will good ??? I am afraid that it is a little light... but I prefer to privilege the light that autonomy.
PS: sorry for my catastrophic English... I study Russian in first language and I am study in the college (in France).

Hi Maverick,

Multiplex recommends 4 Tiny-S (same size as HiTec HS-81).

7-8 Sub-C size cells (3000mAh) are recommended. 8/KAN 2000 might require some additional weight in the nose to achieve the correct CofG.

Just weighed the components:

Fuselage: 162.2g
Vertical stabilizer: 23.2g
Horizontal stabilizer: 40.5g
Left wing panel: 118.3g
Right wing panel: 118.4g
Wing joiner/control rods: 66.0g
Accessories: 41.7g

Jürgen

Perhaps somebody has the weights of the "old" Twin-Star (for comparison)?

What ESC is recommended, 30-40A or 40+? Thanks.

Also I'm heading to Germany next month. Maybe I should buy a TSII there and bring it back rather than wait for it to cross the pond.

personally, I took the jeti jes 045 (to be able to pass in lipo). I think that 40 A are enough.

Unfortunately that is total weight (without battery) including modifications like geared Aeronaut motors, 8x8" props etc.
