very cool cockpit panel print. im working on my powerplants at the moment, im not looking to hover, just fly well.

Thanks.. I dont like to hover either but a Hog's not a pig in the air.
So im waiting to build it nice.
Maybe 65mm fans that should move it.

Cut access hatch above elevator this allows for bellcrank mounted to cut out in elevator center.
The black lines in elev. are carbon rods filling a slot that I made to fit plastic tubes for rudder control rods.
The control rods end with Quik-Links attached to a cut down Servo arm (HS-50).
The white arm seen sticking out of the main rudder is one half of the arm, the rest is buried in the notch cut on the inner rudder face.
I mounted the servo arm to a cut down mini ez connector epoxied to a small carbon flat then epoxied the flat in the notch.
I used a longer arm piece to attach to the rudder surface.

Hi All,,,

I want to make foam external inner fuel tank, 2 for one on each side of my "HOG",, so it will belly land on it and not on the wing gear compartment unit,, but I want it to look scale.

Is someone can help with the external fuel plan search for it,, or some other procedure I could do my tank unit scale,, I'm new to foam work,, but a good craftmen.

On the photo's I see that you use a kit for the interior,, or it seem like it,, what is the plastic kit compagny and what is the scale size of it that would fit in the GWS "HOG",, or is there a plastic cockpit kit who would fit in the GWS A-10 ?,,, that would look nice in my "HOG" ,,,

The pilot & seat are vac form from a flying styro F-16.
Its about the only thing out there that I've found, 1/18 scale I think.
The decal I made, if ya want one pm me.
I added the o2 bottle & a little detail to the aces2.
Hud display scatch built.
The gear I'm still working on, designed to fit wattage retracts, spring loaded & functional.

Dont have much to add right now but I just purchased a kit.

Thanks for the tip,, 1/18 size hey,, I'll try to look for it here,, and for the gear, well,, I will be over weight if I add that too,, I will have to wait and see how much weight I will add with my inner fuel tanks I want on,,

I maybe gone start today shapping that foam for those tanks,, I'll go with what I got on that,,,

And about your building,, where are you at @ this time,, ? and how scale are you going to go with that A-10 ?,,,

The bare foam after the interior chop came in at 6oz, I have most of the frame finished
in .4oz kevlar, .5oz & .25oz carbon so far I'm up to 9.2oz
