I'm not one for buying many kits. However, this will be an exception! If they are available??

Kado.

Mike,

Miss Fanfold has got to be the neatest little boat/plane I've ever seen. It's obvious reading this thread that many feel the same way. However, it seems there's been a little bit of a misunderstand in some of the posts. I know it looks like folks are asking for plans or kits. But we're not. We were just trying to be nice.

WE'RE TELLING YOU MIKE!! PLANS AND OR KITS!! DO IT! AND DO IT NOW!!!

(Did I mention how much I like Miss Fanfold?)

Ok, as long as everyone is asking for plans, I might as well request that the plans be available in 3 different sizes.

As it turns out I made the airframe (boatframe?) before I measured the storage compartment on my boat. Unfortunately the compartment is 3" too small. Now I have to make a storage case to store it in.....

Good thinking Danny! Is that rigid enough or are you going to add a bit of balsa Triangle stock to it?

The lower portion where it attaches to the balsa post is very rigid, but I am going to add triangular stock up top, where the foam attaches to the balsa.
I also imbedded two small hooks (made from GWS servo arms) that will extend to each corner, at the top of the upper surface. If you look close I believe you can see that in Ernest's version. I may even CA on a length of CF rod to the front surface of the upper tail to really strengthen it.
I have to watch carefully cause I don't want to weigh down the tail and make it near impossible to get a proper CG, without adding a ton of weight to the nose that is....

Hi Mike

I sent Ernest a PM, but haven't heard back. Looks like you guys have been busy! Anyway, I love your idea! I have a laser and would love to kit it and work with you guys if you are interested. Let me know.
