Even a mighty Holden Commodore like mine gives way to a road train wether its in the right or wrong. 2 Ton against 20 ton isnt a fair match. Plus I hate tyre marks on the hood .

Y'all still have road trains? I'd'a thought they'd gone the way of the Dodo by now.
Australia seems to be an interesting place, from what filters through to us in the States. I'd like to take a year....maybe find those girls from "Drovers' Run"! (on the Nine Network)

No, they're still here and they're getting bigger.

And as for the girls in "Drovers Run" they are mostly city girls acting as country girls.

There you always give a way to the guy on your right, if your roads are of equal importance.

So lets say its a 4 way stop - you give the right of way to the guy on your right. If he has someone on the right - he gives the right of way to that guy. Now if that guy has yet another guy to his right - 4 cars at an intersection - can someone figure out what has to happen then?

Only USA guys please, or those from countries with different rules, other wise its cheating

Yeah we WILL amuse ourself, and at least I enjoy it, while patiently waiting.

Come on.. this thread is going way off-topic. I apologise for the lack of progress, but this thing is going to have to wait a while.

Flying and landing wires...

Do a search for the Phantom ultralight and look at the arrangement of the flying and landing wires on it. You need a kingpost for the landing wires (they support the wing in negative G situations and at rest) The flying wires and their attachment to the fuse will be more critical. You will need to disperse the weight of the fuselage to these as they in effect form a sling to carry the fuse weight. A carrythrough structure at the bottom of the fuse will be a start. The wires would attach at the wing at the spar juncture and then about 2/3rds the way to the tip from there for a second set of wires. Possibly an additional set at the halfway point of the inner wing panels. I know it's a spider web as you called it, but it reduces the needed structure for the wing to next to nothing. Also with the wires they carry the torsion loads as they are in pairs, main spar and trailing edge spar attach points. Someone made a good suggestion of lookin gat the Eindecker as well.
