i found myself at Walmart for no particular reason yesterday, and they have these little rocket powered cars (like the Estes rockets, but much smaller). one of those rockets inside a 2 channel V1 would a site to see. it would be awfully fast, but that would be even more fun, as long as it didnt explode upon the inevitible high-speed impact

Wow free plans to the flying bomb

Do they also have free plans of innocent civilians to go along with it?
It would make it that much more realistic.

I know you probably didn't mean anything by it, but why in the heck would someone want to build a model of this? Please spare me the historical and aerodynamic technology bull....

I don't think it is right. That is my opinion and you are entitled to yours - I wonder why?

There's a picture of a 12" span Fiesler 103 (piloted version of the the V1) by Richard Crossley on www.ffscale.co.uk in one of the "rapier powered models" photo galleries, and I vaguely recall seeing a stick and tissue plan of it in a UK model mag within the last 2-3 years???

The Fiesler variant was test flown by legendary German female ace Hanna Reitch --- a brave lady; and also very trusting!!!!!

Cheers Peter

PS I do share some of Dave's sentiments about wanting to build it: having narrowly avoided being prematurely "retired" by one during WW2!!! Time is a great healer however!
