How did you form the round fuse?

Now you REALLY got me going!

The C130 is my all time favourite and now I just HAVE to build one!
Even tho' it's not much more than a meter in span, it seems as steady as a rock in the air - I just HAVE to make my own...

Personally, I guess I'd make the ailerons a little bigger and give the motors a bit of right thrust to make it turn better to the right, just my two bits worth, keep the change.

But it's cute and seems to be steady in the air. I'd say you have the right to be proud. Keep up the good work!!

Black depron (manufactured by Ebeco in Sweden) is very easy to bend, I just very carefully bent the fuse around fuselage formers, no heating, no tricks needed.

I did add some right thrust after the first flights in January. It helped and no problems at all on turning right anymore.

But it's cute and seems to be steady in the air. I'd say you have the right to be proud. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks Tyson. I've been working with blue foam and it is evidently alot more brittle and stiffer than Depron. I'm still trying to figure how to roll and bend it.

Absolutely the easiest way to bend black depron without any risk of breaking it is to cover one side (outer) of the sheet for examle with packing tape. After covering bending is a piece of cake. Tape adds some weight, but it also makes the plane more durable, almost crash-proof. This is how I built for example the fuselage for my Pitts Special (Check out the photos from http://www.careliawin.com/tyson/RCPitts.htm).
