I am working on this one currently. The TIE X1 has proven to be a really tough one to get flying.

I am going to use a CDR and 3S 340 power.
Shooting for a 14 to 16" wingspan. Will make the flip up tip panels optional.

If someone finds a 3 view of that ship. Please post.

Wow, missed this new part 2. Great idea that you have included all 'successful' Star wars ships. I'm sure it will encourage others to join in. Nice one GO-RC!!

I'm still in the works of a micro (15 gram) millenium falcon. I tried it will no control and it flys nicely and straight, though when i installed some actuators on a second model for control, i had none! Still banging at it.

The first pic is with the single channel version. This flew fine and was flew at a fast job pace.

Second is with the proper 3 channel gear, and two actuators at the rear for control. The control surfaces were not big enough it seemed. May try rudder next time.

heh, so it is hobbitcy! Pardon my illiteracy :P

Although I don't think it's the Royal Naboo Cruiser...my google image search for that turned up a similar, but different craft:

...the one I was referring too is smaller, and has one engine below each wing with some pointy trailing bits.

Sweet mini Falcon Snake. I wish I had some of that micro rc gear. It would be fun to play with on some indoor ships. Good luck with it.

Ok the only pictures I could find of this new ship were in The Art of STARWARS EIII. Neither photo was labeled for the ship. So I'm still not 100% sure on the name. Anyway the pics are below.

Hello Wiseguy,

Some time ago I found the site of the French modeler Yann.
He has built some interesting depron EDF models, one of them was the Naboo cruiser.
Here is the link.

The JSF

2 years ago I designed this plane, I loved the way it flew, now still in my collection, because it has the Steve Sanswet signature in one picture is Steve with his freeflight JSF version.
