Will 18 gauge wire soldered directly to P-10 cause damage?
I had to make some longer battery leads. I don't need to have two sets of plugs just to go an extra 6" and don't really want the weight. Is there any harm in soldering up the 18 gauge (carefully) to the P-10? Motor will be pulling 8 amps WOT on a fully charged 3s 830 Lipo pack. Would it cause an increase in current to a point where it would spike or anything abnormal? I always check my stuff with a multi meter and Watt-meter during testing and pre flight (if that even matters).
