Thanh,
why dont you use some plastic, or washers to put between the servo ears and the frame on the inside to pull the top of the servo inside the frame more? I know you have materials you could use. I saw that nice shogun frame of yours Just cut some pieces to use as a washer that would look identical to a servo ear. You may need to use some longer mounting screws to get through it all, but it should pull the servo in as far as you need, or until the bottom of the servo bottoms out on the opposing frame.

Hi Skeppley, I'll probably try that once I need more negative pitch. Currently I don't have the mood to take it all apart just to fix that servo. The servo is mounted behind the frame. So I will have to tear it all down just to fix that servo. So if a servo gear goes bad, I have to do that to replace the gear.

I was also afraid that when mounting servo on two spacers, I could weaken the servo torque quite a bit as servo will be moving.

Have you started building yours yet? Did you wife know .

I told my wife that it would take a lot of time to fix ARK400 in the future, and she asked if I did my research before buying it. I told her maybe I would get another TREX, as it costs about the same for a pair of shoes

Thanks

Elevator problem

Okay, here is another problem. Elevator crank has lots of slop that I could move the crank around 1 - 2mm without the the elevator moving.

Here is the picture of what i'm talking about.

How would you fix this?
I'm thinking about putting glue but then I will have trouble to take it apart later .
Thanks

Hi,
Had the same problem when I received the heli (someone built it for me).
I used a a longer screw and was able to get it 95% tight.
Interestingly, it does not show in flight.
I do only mild sport flying, no 3D stuff.
The Heli flys really well, very well balanced.

GigaWatt, so you just fly with 5% slop? How much movement do you have with the elevator? How many degree of tilt is what I mean. I tighten the screw all the way in but it does not help. Gee, that part suffers lots of torque and it's so small yet has lots of slop. My shogun elevator has some slop but definitely MUCH BETTER than this.
