Does look nice. Looking forward to your impressions of it in the air. Micro is too small for me and this one being middle of the road would be easily transportable. What are you going to have pulling her around?
Cheers
Bill

Very interested in your motor selection too, so make sure you give us a flight report when the time comes.

Thanks guys.

I have metalic red trim but not real sure yet what to do with it. It will be pretty conservative though.

The motor seems to have way more power than the ultrafly/gearbox I have on the Extra.

I'll let you know what I think. Though this is only my 2nd plane so my opinion is limited.

Balancing

I have covered - trim and am yet to install the aileron servos. but as it is the thing is very close to balanced with a TP2100 S3 battery.

I am amazed at how little weight I will have to add if any at all.

Do these planes usually balance so well or do they usually require some weight to get things right?

Trimmed with Stars and stripes

I decided to go pretty conservative on the trimming out. Since this is the first plane I have built ina long time I guess my artistic side was lacking. But I think it looks pretty cool. I may add blue stars later. If it survives the maiden flight

The battery area is large enough that youp shouldn't have to add weight to get the CG right. Looks great! Good luck on the maiden!

Good luck and I hope you find a nice windless South Australian day for the maiden.

I live in the desert mate Plenty of still days out here. I guess I'll have to be more picky with the flying days compared to what I fly the extra in.
