White Shark from Multiplex
Don't get confused. It is just a new name for the white TJ. Doesn't this model ask for a US NAVY Tomcat color scheme?
Were can I find some Wolf Pack decor? Jürgen

hmm, this white twinjet seems a good idea for custom paint jobs of any nature. plane art?
any how, i downloaded a tj video from www.andreasscholl and jurgen you said it was brushless? but it's performance seems more or less the same as a stock twinjet? i've seen that clip before but re-downloaded it when i saw the thread that said it was a similar setup to yours and yours had rocket qualities! i might go brushless EVENTUALLY as long as i can hook up both funs off the single esc, i don't need fancy variable dynamic thrust variation like you but want to save SOME dosh instead. question is, there are different turns of the FUN 400 right. 23, 28 something rather..... can these motors take ten cells? 10x2000? i know you'll say i don't need them but they'll be the same ones i WILL use in my e3d which i'm getting in oh, 2.5 months or so i can't avoid this ten cell thing and really, really don't want to buy the 9.6v packs. again, dosh saving.Peter ![]() do these new white n' blue twinjets come with 480's or not? twinjets are good value now £60 new, quite amazing |

Hi Peter,
Can't remember the video from Andreas Scholl and your link doesn't seem to be working. You can buy the Twin Drive from Kontronik at www.hoellein.com for €322.- (2xFUN400-23 & 1xSMILE40-6-12). Going to 10 cells I would use the new CP1700 and save even more weight. Jürgen

Amazing - nobody noticed that I have used "White Shark" instead of "White Eagle". It is either that or "Blue Shark" for the blue version.
Jürgen @Gerard - Yes the new material is also Elapor. |

Whatever you want - your choice. Using 10 cells you are drawing up to 40A from battery pack using 5.5x4.3" props. You can drain your 1700SCR in less than 2.5 minutes. Using the same props but only 8 cells, the motors will only draw about 24A and you will have about 4 Minutes at full throttle, or you use bigger props and get the current up to 40A again.
JürgenP.S.: Whatever you do - you will have a much more efficent drive system which is maintenance free and will keep its value. |

Hi Gerard,
Assuming you get about 60-65% max. efficiency from the 480Ls and about 88-89% from the FUN400-23, you have 37-46% more power at the same duration! Hi Peter, If you use some throttle management you can make them last quite a while, but even then: 12V are pretty tough to an untimed commutator (arcing etc.) Jürgen

Why 10/2000? 10 CP1700 are lighter. Why FUN480s? FUN400 are lighter.
JürgenP.S.: Does anybody have some decals for a F-14 VF-1 "Wolf Pack"? |
