You do the math.
Is someone setting the price? I can make a huge profit charging half that much.

Uau... that is price for cold air inflatables here...

See we are in a City compared to NY city where marketing the society opinions are formed...my costs are much higher...

If I would go to an Okie hillbilie city here in Brazil... obviously I could not sell over there...they do not make corporate decisions...

Any way I need to take 3 months vaccation every year... and that is the most important thing...no matter where I Work...we are Capitalists... I´Am any way...

I pay $60.00 /bottle for He and I deal with a national company so no matter what city I am in the price is the same thus my cost are the same.
Sounds like you are not too experienced with the outdoor market. I can assure you that there is a lot more money flying outdoor than flying blimps in your friends living rooms.

if you take in consideration devloppement work, risk insurances cost of the trailer helium and pilot i'm ok with 2200$ day

Although I do not have a single blimp (I am a RC Raptor heli Aerial Photographer guy), I do have extensive business experience as I own my own portrait photography company.

In response to Edge, I would have to disagree. I don't think Blimpman has a signle hint of (negative) attitude or lack of professionalism. On top of that, I don't even think he is close to insulting. I think the thing you are forgetting is Guga stated he charges $4500 US per day for operating costs! THAT IS INSANE and unrealistic. As far as I am concerned, I think Blimpman's perspective, insight, and extreme honesty has been extremely helpful for someone like me that still dreams to own a large, outdoor blimp someday. For example, after reading Blimpman's posts, I know what realistic operating costs would be like in the great US ($60 per helium bottle, etc.) if I were to purse RC Blimps here in Texas. In addition, I could ask him simple questions after looking at all the pics he kindly posts for people to view. Perhaps my questions would be centered on how he captured the cool stadium pics, or what type of camera rig he uses, or what type of engine, etc. It's all a learning experience for those who are open minded, smart enough, and willing to learn.

Edge, if you free your mind and look beyond the words, there is more to learn from these posts than you might imagine. Give it a try.

By the way, thanks for all the helpful info Blimpman. It's appreciated by more people than you think.
