This is the first event ever in Guatemala. It was a concert and we flew for Telefonica Movistar and 6,000 people arrived at the show.
I will post some vids later

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the support. This blimp is a 8ft indoor. Its not form blimp guys, is from some supplier we have in the U.S. Our fleet consist of one 8ft indoor, one 13ft indoor and one 13ft outdoor.

For the moment we don´t have a web site but we are working on it as I speak. Its kind of difficult to have this kind of business here, because people don´t know the technology and are afraid of something bad will happen. Our operation just took off after a few months of demo flights. Now we are getting some flights more often.

If you have some info of how to sell this products more easily, your advice is welcome.

Thanks,

First...you got to have a site

Second... you've got to have a mailing list (event companies) and send 150 personal emails to the right people...

Third...
Visit 10 prospects every day and have ready DvDs...to give away...

Only that... after 2 year the results will come like rain...

Phil

On the question of what do I charge, I will be honest and simply say whatever it will bear. I sent you a pm with additional information. You have to sell yourself and your service.

You will notice I stated that I fly tethered a lot of the time and there is a simple reason, I have gotton used to it. With all the FAA mis cue's thats been going on for the last 8 months or so and simply because over the crowd its just plan safer to maintain positive control of the vehicle. I carry 12 to 18 thousand mils of battery power on board and normally require, if any, only a few hundred revolutions on the main thrusters to maintain position for best viewing by the crowd. The clients are happy with this approach and honestly unless the conditions are near perfect for flying free its not worth the hassle. I can fly safely on the tether until I hear the flags starting to snap on the poles (between 12 to 15 knots) and then its time to come on down for the day. I fly for hours at a time if necessary and have no problem with the power I am carrying. Each of my gondolas have proven they will fly for over an hour at about 40 percent with cycles of full power for a few seconds on less than 10,000 mils. The airship is about 10 ounces or so light and rides the tether very well with minimal corrections required but you have to maintain constant vigual of what is happening. The vehicle can start to fly back and forth on the tether and reach a point referred to as "lockout" and will head for the deck in an instant due to the strain of the line. You had better think quick and get on the sticks with the tail thruster and rudder, shutting power off or your toy will bite the dust. It can happen and when it does it will scare the devil out of you. I normally fly at about 125 foot for best viewing and will not fly within that distance to the crowds or stands. I would hate to plant the thing in the stands. Flying free is great and I love the few time I have done it but from the clients view point, they are happy with what I do. The tether is 200 pound lanyard cord and I also carry a bobbin with 100 pound test about 300 feet long as a secondary recovery device hooked to the landing gear switch and an old Vortec bomb release. If things go south, its pickled immediately to assist in recovery. Anyway, thats the way I've done it this season. Next season it may be different. Good luck and have fun.
