Well Greg... My daughter and Son are living here...I really do not have to much to go back for...
Living in Maui is very expensive I know... have been here 6 times already...
"if I can survive here... I´ll die here..."
(going to Try to be burried by Charles Lindberg cemetery)

Any way we are giving a shot... if it doesn´t work ...we go back to Miami... have some relatives there... and then back to my "prison" in São Paulo...(I´m realy tired of it)

As far as BlimpShow it continues down there with my partner that now is going not only to operate but also do Marketing... (I used to do everything manufacture, Marketing and Operations...
he is goin to do it to survive and send me some Doe )

I tought in trying to star selling Blimps in the Indoor events inside the big hotels here... let´s see what happens... I was very good in selling the Idea in Brasil... and made very good money

I know one thing... the marketing approach in latin america or Brasil is something I know very well and the "Desires, Necessities and Values" of the Society do not seem to be the same as here...
Any Suggestions?

Yes... I have made many flights with my 2 Outdoor Blimps, one 8.6 meters and the other 10 meters
I used to charge US$4.500,oo a day at least 3 day contract...
obviously flying only for Multinational Corporations...

Flying for sports was not worth it... they only pay peanuts...

I wonder how much you guys are charging... for flying at Baseball Games?

I only fly for the Rich... that is why I´m in Maui...people here have DOE...

I flew for an event last evening at a local high school. About 500 guest for dinner at the end of school year to honor the school districts long term teachers and those retiring this year. I had a pleasant evening and really had no problems to speak of. My partner flew for the Dallas Desperados (arena football) as well so we were pretty busy. Attached are a couple of shots on the Huckabee sortie and the little 7.5 footer. ed

Love the photos and envy the location but I'm too long a Texan to make the change you just did. Get out the balloons and get back to work. It may be a little different but not by much. Luck sir.

Helium recycle

Guys,

This may be a stupid question, but is there any way we can recycle the helium ? I spend $1000 to inflate an 7.3m blimp, so....

Thanks !

Personally, I have heard of several methods and thoughts but nothing successful. I eat the cost and plan it as part of the overall charge per that event. It would be sweet if we could reclaim at least 60 percent per event, save a lot of money. It kills me to have to use a T-bottle (290 cubic feet) and after 30 minutes of flying dump it into the ether. Fifty eight to 75 dollars gone but its figured into the bill so I guess I should not be bitching although I still do.

What part of the world are you in? I can fill a roughly 600 foot 20 foot airship for approximately $125.00 US. I just received an invoice for a dozen T-bottles of helium that averaged about 63 dollars a bottle from Prexair. Airgas cost a little more at about 75 dollars a bottle. This cost is part of the overall cost of doing business.
