I never knew SIG made them, but they are in their catalog - http://www.sigmfg.com/cgi-bin/dpsmar...rch_02Index_01 . I've never seen them though.

Mark, any chance you might post a photo of what the crossection looks like?

dont think its strut material, its 3 inches wide, im flying the 1/4 inch thick ones but 2 of my buddies are flying the 3/16 thick ones, they both fly great, all you have to do is round the leading edge just a little, i run my mast 10 degrees back no neg in the blades 5 deg, down thrust in the engine , i m flying ailrones on my rotor head and rudder and elevator on the tail, takes a little right ailron on take off and trim to level flight once you clime out.i fly 2 blade system 3 inch head made from 2 peices fiberglass with large serco wheels for the barring mount, gws gear shaft barrings fit right in with just a little boring out the centers with a 1/4 bit, hope this helps...send me your e mail and i will try to send you some pics,,,dbeamon@wfubmc.edu

I sent you an email. Also...I did see some aileron stock at my local hobby shop with the leading edge at an angle. With some sanding, could be decent. I have also considered gluing a pc of foam on top of a pc. of aileron stock to make the Clark Y air foil and would make for easy shaping.

Email sent. I think it would benefit all of us in the forum if you could share your photos here, both of your blades and your models.

We'd like to see your work!

Ari.

I think those are the same as the ones supplied with the Autogyro Company of Arizona kits, Cieva C-4, Gyrobee, Kelleyt....etc. They laser cut the middle portions of the blank to use for the rotor blades.

OK they came in and they are nice! I should have gotten the two inch wide instead of the three inch. I can modify it with no problem. I will know for the next time. D Beamon...thanks for the info!!!!
