Here is the newest member of my fleet, the super neon. I was looking around in my basement, and couln't find any nice colos to paint it. So I took off to the Hazardous recycle center, where they have a lot of different colors of spray paint. They are like half used, but typically you don't need a full can of spray paint for a rocket...or, at least I hope you don't! So I coudn't find neon purple, green or blue, so I chose regular blue, red and yellow.
This is by far my favorite one to build, even more than the SR71 Blackbird

A few of my other rockets, I have a few more downstairs. All kit built, none of them RTF.

Here's a nice little toy.

My V-2 that I built 17 years ago is now home again. My friend I traded it to asked if I wanted it back, and I said yes. Had to cut the body tube in half to get it back in a roll bag on the plane, and took two trips but got it back. Sat in the closet for a year, till my buddy reminded me about the local launch. Normally I miss that launch due to being in Reno for the air races, but this year it was a week after. So, installed a coupler, reinforced the joint, added rail buttons, and re-painted the camo to repair the damage 17 years will cause.

It's ready to go with my mountainside 2.6" version and my helmet. This rocket made the cover of HPR at one time, hopefully it will make many more flights.

How much does each launch cost for the fourteen footer?

Here is the last flight of my LOC 7.5" V-2 this weekend on a J-540 redline. Got caught 60' up in the trees at the end of the field. Couldn't even get an arborist to come and look at it for under $300.

Actually not as bad as you might think. The motor was built by Dr. Frank Kosdan (RIP) and the last two reloads we bought were $1200 each. We have one left we are going to fly as a minimum diameter rocket and are hoping to get in the 60,000 foot altitude range, should be fun.
