Ouch! Still in rocketry I hope. I will be doing my Level 1 and possibly level 2 this year -- see how that goes. My 1/4 scale Patriot is almost ready for painting now. This morning, I just finished last layer of epoxy on the 2nd launch lug.....

Here is a cato that occurred for a TARC trial launch last year and a picture of a couple scratch builts by two of my sons.

Here is my 1/4 scale Patriot. It is 'ready to go' . I'll be adding some decals but this is the main paint scheme.... At least until after the initial flight! AUW is 4lb 9oz (that's with motor).

Okay, a couple of pictures of the Patriot Before and After. This was a Level 1 Certification flight. Successful, on an H123 motor .

Water Rocket

Here's something different... my 48" water rocket. This launch achieved ~ 1000ft (that's good for a water rocket )

Cool! Glad to see you got it flying! 1000 feet is amazing! Congrats! You need to make your pictures bigger ... say 1024x768 .

Nice! I am looking for my next rocket for C2 for next year. A nice V2 would be 'nice' to certify on .

Here is my 'finished' Patriot. Finally made the decals and painted it 'semi' scale. Not quite as 'naked' as my above photo of the first flight!

I don't know how to do the thumbnails. Sorry. Here is a picture of my rockets though. Most built many years ago with many flights on them. They are all pretty much stock as Estes wanted them to be except for the Saturn V. It's built to use 2 D or E engines. I've only ever flown it with the Ds though. D12-5s. That goes plenty high for the space I have available.

Nice bunch of rockets!!!

Note to attach pictures you use the 'Manage Attachments' which is a button in the Additional Options below where you type your post. (just scroll down) . You can add/delete pictures later when 'editing' you post too.

Haven't been able to launch my Patriot . Fire season has prevented any launches.
