Received the latest Shogun upgrade from Corrado at Heliup.com in Italy a few days back. I'll be doing a step by step assembly thread and review of this CNC CF and aluminum frame over the next week.

There may be a couple days of quiet during this process as I'm a avid F1 race fan and this weekend is the Gran Prix of Italy at San Marino and I know Corrado and I will be dialed in to the coverage (me on the Speed channel and Corrado probably at the track )

It's a beautiful kit with nicely crafted, well engineered parts. It is compatible with the earlier Heliup.com Shogun upgrades including the belt drive. This build will incorporate the Heliup.com belt drive that I previously reviewed here.

This frame is indeed sweet bling-looking. One of my friends has it, and he's taken a few good dumpers with his shogun and the Heliup frame survives everytime Can't wait to see your review Hoverup.

I have had one of these on back order at www.midlandhelicopters.co.uk for agees now, I wonder what the delay is? Its seems it would have been quicker to get it from the states, maybe cheaper even.

I wonder what the frame thickness is?

Got my carbon frame some weeks back. It is a light blue to grey in color which is a nice change from the usual black. Every thing in this kit looks very well made. Haven't started putting it together yet, been too busy. Look forward to your review Hoverup.

The review will resume in earnest once the San Marino F1 GP race and the offshore big boy boat racing (out my front window) has wrapped up at the end of this weekend.
