Exactly the info I was looking for, Ray. Many thanks!

This would mean that for the thrust line of an outrunner in your new mount to match up with a gearbox on the top mount the gap between the upper and lower sticks would need to be about 21mm. Are you considering molding the slot in your models to accomodate this (seems essential to facilitate use of your new power systems)?

I think I understand what you are showing, Ray, and it looks great! Your outrunner offerings are going to be a huge improvement for the market demand here in the US!

Hi Tom,

Thank you. I was and I am very sure you understand that --absolutely no problem.

This chart can help many flyers if they need to modify the airplane for different motor mounts.

For outrunner -- we have huge demand for this products. Still have many back orders.

It appears that the mounting screws supplied with the motor are long enough for the X-mount also supplied with the motor, but they are not long enough for the EMM28 stick mount. Are longer mounting screws included with the new mount?

[QUOTE=RAY GWS]GWS has one more propeller for you. We just added a new size of propeller in the GWS HD Series: HD1260 Propeller. GWS HD Series Propeller with excellent performance is designed by GWS CEO, Mr. Lin. It provides you more thrust with less current draw. You are welcome to test and compare with other major brands in the market. This will be an excellent propeller for GWS Formosa II flyers to use.

Item Number: GWPRO001

QUOTE]

Has an RPM limit been determined for this propeller? I would like to compare to other brands but do not want to exceed it's operating limits while doing so.
Thank you.... I like the new products.

Based on recent purchases I have made, the answer is "no" - the mounts come with no screws.

A 2208-18T I just bought had those awful connectors and no screws long enough. A 2212-13T I bought a couple of weeks ago had two screws that were long enough (and just bare tinned wires). So perhaps future runs of the motors will have screws that will work.

I haven't tried it, but I'd guess even the short screws will work with the new GWS aluminum mount, since it has countersunk holes to match.

3mm diameter 6mm long screws are needed to mount the motors to the plastic mount.

Oh, that's nice! I have a 'mosa in the box that might ending up looking like yours! How did you do the graphics/lettering?

It's great that GWS is getting more into the brushless + lipo side of things, but where are the new planes? I see a few flat warbirds in the TBA section of the website which aren't terribly exciting.
Seems like in years past GWS was coming out with cool new stuff a little more often.
