Vinnie, the 2.3 was from Heli-hobbies, who you guys sent me too as you were out of stock.

They did not give me any options on the motor, so I was stuck with it. (Have another one on backorder, that I have been trying to cancel). Not really impressed with Heli-hobbies service and response time at this point.
But i'll go order a couple 3mm pushers from you guys tonight. And yes, other than this, I have been very happy with the motor.

Ender,

Got your order - thanks. I'll drop a 3mm bell in the box along with your order. Maybe you can revive the one with the sheared off axle.

I hope you can repair your plane !

I return you to your regularly scheduled Stryker Thread.

Thanks Vinnie, does not appear that the motor itself was damaged, but I'll take a closer look.
Damage to the Stryker was minimal, and I have a couple extra motor mounts so it's an easy fix. One of the great things about Strykers, and foamies in general is you can sustain major damage, and live to fly the next day.

WOW!! Part 3!!! What a great thread! Thanks to Chuck D. for starting it. I'll be finishing my new fuse this week. It's painted, just needs electronics installed and elevons hinged. I'll try to post pix later this week.

I think there should have been few threads on different subjects considering stryker. There is simply more to share than just how to make it go faster. Great plane it is. Oh yes and Chuck's passion drove this thread a lot. Where is he now though? Haven't seen him posting since introduction of "Rock and Roll".

chainick,

He posted just a day or so ago. He had been busy with work. But he is back. Check the last few pages of Part 2. He said he's getting closer to making a better mount for our motors. HIP,HIP HORAY!!!! We could use a better mount system.

I finally got my Astro 109 charger. I'm transferring precious electrons even as I type!

Test hop this weekend.

hey windface, I see u have done some bodywork on the fuselage. Hard to say but it looks like wings are thinner, are they? Other things changed, looks like its going to be one helluva plane. Nose sharpened and glued on, cockpit narrowed just like I did some time ago on mine and it helped a lot, so I'd say you are moving in the right direction.

Hey gang,

My 16-25-4 Mega Stryker is still going strong.

This is a great plane that offers all sorts of "Butt-Puckering" flight time
