EAM's F-18 ARF

Dave,
What is the difference between the EAM F-18 ARF and the KC/EJF F-18. Wing span, weight, power system, etc.
Thanks,
Bob Ruff

Well Bob as the Name implies it is an FA-18 E Super Hornet, Bigger Wing, Longer Nose, Different intakes, Larger Fuel Capacity, just basically a better version of the run of the mill bug.

So it is basically the Kevin Cox design distributed by the Electric Jet Factory?

Also, you list the WeMoTec F-16 as "in stock"? A friend of mine & myself are looking for one...

Hi Bob -

Where is this model listed? I took a quick look at the EAM site and could not find a reference to it.

Thanks! Mark

FA-18E Super Hornet

It has nothing to do with EJF or Kevin Cox it is built and distributed exclusivly by EAM. Do all P-51's come from the same place ? C'mon guys be real.

The similarities seem to be indeed entirely superficial, as shown on this (non-profit) site:

F-18 ARF

See http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...8&pagenumber=1
Now this plane looks alot like the one posted on your web page. The LE cuff is not attached to the wing and the one pictured on your web looks the same except in gray. Is this the manufacturer of your ARF?

Bob I am not even going to dignify your comment with a response, you guys are barking way up the wrong tree. But it is pretty much what I would expect, very predictable. Wait till you see the A-10 but I guess someone has a lock on anything that remotley resembles an A-10 as well, I don't think so.

Hey,
I dont mean to ruffle feathers, BUT
the construction looks Identical to Kevins,
I mean Damn, there are a lot of P51's but how many have the EXACT fan mounting, and the EXACT hatch area, yes there are many ways to build a plane but come on, a little credit to Kevin Cox for the basic design, or at least some credit. show us some more that is different from Kevins, maybe the front section?

At the risk of being flamed, just tell me where to send my money. EJF or EAM. I'd buy an ARF Hornet from either source.

I'll stay clear of the EAM / EJF arguement... that's none of my business, but I Just wanted to clear that little fact up

...Cool new site, but it IS EAM's site.

Thank you Allen, and where on the site does it say non-profit ? it clearly states at the bottom along with the copyright notices that it is a part of EAM, aministered by EAM and it is a private board for our customers and friends. Herb your innuendo is way out of line. So how else exactly would you hook tailerons up ? I have used this same method on several models it is also the same method utilized by Wemotec for thier F-16. This is not ground breaking technique here. And while there a similarities which would be common to any model of this subject there are many differences that will be addressed in the upcoming reviews. until that time nothing will be revealed.
