If you recall several nights ago we all were discussing the PARK ZONE P-51D RTF for $225.00, well, many were torturing themselves about the airframe cost since it is a nice detailed foam model.....

Well, for those that don't want to end up with Radio gear that they may not use....this model is perfect!

I have flown my World Models RAMBLER EP countless missions and it flys just great with the Himax HA2025-4200 in the GWS EPS-300 gearbox ("C" Gearing, 5.33:1 ratio) and swinging the APC "SF" 9 X 7.5 Propeller with APOGEE 2480mAH, 3S1P, Li-POLYs.

I suspect that this model will perform and fly scale like the Mustang that we all Love and with the Brushless, it will zing very nicely!

Worls Models makes some of the best ARF's in the world. No reason to think this would be different. Ordering one tomorrow. :-)

I ordered one last Sunday through Hong Kong, waiting for it to arrive.

I will be refering to the Ramber EP thread during the build.

I reserved one last week and ordered it Tuesday when it finally hit Airborne's site. Found it on the China site when I was trying to order my Rambler - which is also coming.

Haven't flown a WM plane yet, but have heard a lot of good things about them from some of the guys here in St Pete and on the forums.

Looking forward to these 2 planes.

Your right about the PZ Model - why would anyone who already has a radio order that when they could get one of these beauties for $100 less? Istill maintain PZ is marketting theirs to newbies- what a disaster that is going to be.

Anyway, according to Airborne, the first shipment of 40 of these hit their warehouse this week I doubt they will last long - so order it quick if you want one of the first batch.

Wait until after they ship mine out, though - LOL!

Thanks!!!!

I am going to order later since I have to get myself in gear and go to work...

This model is advertised as being 26 oz. total flight weight but, this is assuming with the heavy 480 motor (long can speed 400) and round cells. Should I configure it like my RAMBLER EP it will be a feather weight champ of around 23 - 24 oz. and will zing using the HIMAX HA2025-4200 in GWS gearbox..

Later!
Carlos

Not sure what motor I will use yet. I have a HiMax 2025-4200 and a 2812-0850 outrunner - haven't used either one yet. Will probably put one in the Rambler and the other in the Mustang. Have a couple of 1900 3s I haven't used yet either, so those will be my batteries for these 2 motors.

I am not interested in a rocket - I just want good scale performance with some reserve power and the lowest amp draw I can get away with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For those of you who might be interested, we have a discussion thread started on this model at www.novellahub.com as well. Kaz and I are moderators over there - we were waiting to get our Mustangs ordered before we let the cat out of the bag over here -LOL - sorry about that - but we each wanted to get one of the first 40.

The thread is under Balsa ARF - World Models

Now why would we go to a Forum who's mod's withhold important information?
