Hi BJ, I thought you may be particually interested in these pics, seen your thinking of a faster hotliner!! I did not get the chance to ask what it is.
I thought you may be able to ID, or someone Neal PS I realize that I need practice on a plane a bit faster than the clouds fly that I learnt to fly on, sooooo I have decided ti customise my other spare clouds fly. I have cut the wings down a bit it is now 900 wing span, filed the l/e so it is not blunt and am looking for some water base something to spray on and give a smooth surface, already sanded it smooth as I can, also cut the tailplane and stab down, will probably leave the original motor for the minute but I will try a size up on prop. The end result will be a plane that does not self rite, is a fair bit quicker. and a bit more responsive/skittish, I hope! Any thoughts on a coating?? Neal |

Thanks BJ, I will pick it up tomorrow, I better get going to work now, any ideas what hotliner the above is?
Neal PS, that old clouds fly is looking pretty good now, ordered a more powerful more Kv, and a 6x4 prop and a new esc, new motor draws just on fourty amps on the bench, it should go good!! She looks pretty sharp with the wings chopped down, and smaller stab and tail plane Neal |
