They are actually a pretty good value. I got the PNP version with retracts. There is a kit version so you can use your own gear, if you desire. Cool plane.------Metalguy

This is my 3rd P40 I've had. I just love GWS products and the P-40 is very well made. You can modify this plane to any level, Retracts, flaps even enough room on the belly to add a bomb drop.

Looks like a good scheme. I did just what you said to mine with retracts and flaps and it did not change the flight characteristics at all other than maybe speeding up the stall speed a tad due to the extra weight. With full flaps it sinks perfectly into a landing. Really love this plane again now. It was a great belly flopper but that was getting boring.

Hello everybody!

I'd come in here looking for information on the new/old version of the Formosa EPO . and was beside my self when I noticed a big following for the GWS kits. Sooo I did a search and that was wwwaaayyyy more reading then I wanted to do.


So I just did a attachment display. Just to skim threw the photos..........


All I can say is....AMAZING!!...... the paint jobs on most of the planes are either very detailed or very creative!!

To everybody "Thank you for sharing your photos" and great job!!

Man, this can give one the inspiration to get out the rattle cans or knock the dust off the paint gun..Or even Get the "00000 brushes to painting"

My old F4U corsair

I could not wait on GWS to make WWI planes so I took a couple of crashed Tiger Moths and made a SPAD XI and a Breguet 14. Now I have GWS WWI planes.

I flew this for the first time over the weekend, and it flew great, just like GWS Corsairs always do! It is fully glassed with .75oz fg cloth and WBPU. The oil coolers were taken from a Parkzone Corsair and trimmed down.

Very nice Corsair! I see you detailed the radiator and also the panel lines – the weathering also adds to the realism. I built on that I posted pictures a while back in the thread, also did the panel lines and added retracts and a few other details. Thanks for posting

Thanks E, I saw your 262. That looks beautiful! All of details make a big difference.
