Very scale, very nice!
There was an episode of "Dogfights" on History channel a few weeks back that featured the Mustangs, including the yellow-tailed version.

You know I was teasing, but I'll tell her; she'll laugh with joy.

You're great.

Nicely done! I've got a GWS Stang in the box - time to break it out.

That Voodoo is great. Excellent work. Are you going to race that?

Thanks Guys,

Power set up on Voodoo is a welgard 2380 KV outrunner on a 3S 1300 lipo swinging a 7x7 prop. 20 amps and 220 watts static. Miss America runs a Welgard 2200 KV outrunner with a 7x5 prop for 20 amps and 200 watts static. Both fly very well. Iam tempted to try an inrunner of around 2000kv+ to see if they go better . Voodoo runs around a 76+mph pitch speed. and miss america 62mph.

Jake , I am racing Voodoo already though I get a bit nervous when we get close to one another . It is not the cost of the airframe as they are cheap. It is the hours I put into them making them look good. I have been meaning to put the video on your pylon racing section. It is still alot of fun.

Formosa covered in chrome ultracote and blue craft paint accents. Powered with a geared Himax 2025-4200 and a 1300mah 3cell. Really clean install despite all the servos and wires and only came out to be 19oz. AUW. Also has GWS blue retracts reinforced with CF tubes and epoxy. Flies like a dream! Balanced perfect without adding or moving anything around.

Oh... and she flies GREAT!

So far I've only had REALLY soft landings. All three on that first day were just smooth as you could ask for. She really does fly good. But I don't know if it will handle hard landings. GWS blue retracts seem kind of weak. Hopefully time won't tell.

Here is my E-Starter bomber with a Rimfire outrunner to swing the prop.

Works great, check the link for details and build pics. Very simple and cheap ($25 for NPS E-Starter) and LOTS of fun! Even works with floats!

It flies GREAT! On the recomended low rates its the perfect trainer, but on high rates (as much throw as one can get!) its a great little aerobat! Does all the basic manuvers with authority, but with a 3cell 800mAh E-Flight pack in the nose it has unlimited vertical, will hover just above half throttle on a 10x6HD prop and is surprizingly stable and looks GREAT torqurolling! Does great KE and locks in pretty well and with the power will do a 3/4 KE loop! (will not come out of the bottom). This is a wonderful plane that seems to be a jack of all trades.

Corsair #3

My latest Corsair. Flew fantastically. Power system is a TowerPro 2409-12T with a 25A ESC, turning an APC 8*4 e-prop. A gust of wind flipped her hard over on landing and even though she hit the shack head on, the only damage was a busted prop and cleanly broken v-stab. Glued the v-stab on and replaced the prop and flew her again the following weekend.

I prepared the surface by sanding with 220 grit to get rid of the foam pimples, then filled in the mold marks with spackle and finished with a coat of WBPU mixed with baby powder. Sanded out with 00000 steel wool. The finish is Wal*Mart craft paint mixed to the right color and air brushed on, and final coat of satin finish WBPU sprayed on.

Video - thanks to Fred (on camera) and John (launching)
GWS Corsair (4 min 26 sec) (4 min 26 sec)

Love it!

Jim
