Hey Laree.... nice plane, but if you find a post doesn't work the first time, just click on the edit button and try again instead of creating a new post. Just an idea. Great lookin plane.

no, that is NOT my plane; that is the one that I am ADMIRING; it belongs to rrobbins, as you see in the photo title; it's HIS.............. don't wanna take false credit; I'm singing the song "can't take my eyes off of you because I want to make one of these soooooo badly, yet don't want to COPY it.

thx, but complements to rrobbins.

Hey all,

Just thought I'd post a couple pics of my corsair. I was inspired by another racer type painted silver I saw somewhere else on here.

Made a few updates to my USCG trim. Still not scale, but close enough to be convincing in the air...

Ha, I'll take it EITHER way; truly beautiful; I'm sure that you noticed that even RAY GWS likes it too; truly a compliment.

Larry - Setup is the following:

Himax 2015-4100
C Gearing 5:1 w/ APC 9x7prop
GWS 11.1V 1300mah 3S Lipo
No landing gear - trying to keep it light.

Did a method I read in a magazine about brushing on thinned out spackling on all the foam then sanding most of it off. This worked great - smoothed out the foam very well. Monokote on the control surfaces to strengthen them up and looks sharp too. Balsa airlerons that are a bit larger for a higher roll rate.
