I probably will start with a Mega 2 turn and a T.P. 3s2p 4200mah. Then if it does alright I might put something in the way of 600watt. Heres another picture. The build will be slow its kind of been on hold now that spring is in the air got some steelhead to go catch and an F35 to test out. Plus Im going through a lot of family issues at the moment.

Thats just poster board. It wasn't easy. Its three sections I started at the fan and worked my way forward a lot of trial fitting and redoing. I started with a piece oversized and trimmed until it fit. I will start posting more pictures as I build. Its been on hold for a while had to get back to work so I could buy what I needed. Next I am going to cut some foam cores for the wings. Dave

Did a bit of work on my plane started on the canopy. planked the back hatch and a bit around the canopy so I could shape the canopy to it.

hey I just finished glassing over the foam on the canopy . I was thinking of melting the foam out. Never done the lost foam method . Im wondering if the balsa formers in picture 11will be ok after I melt the foam with gas? I guess it does not matter I can always make a new base and formers if I have to.

Looking good!

Dunno how the wood would hold up, why not paint the canopy high gloss blue?

I might of missed this, whats the length / width?

Bob.

Thanks Bob length 39in. width 26in. ya I guess theres really no need to melt the foam out there's plenty of room for all the batteries and components. Plus it probably will be pretty messy getting the foam out. painting sounds like the way to go.

Very nice!

I was looking through your posts and the fan location seems a bit forward. I was wondering if the CG might be hard to obtain? Though it looks like the area in front of the duct split gives you more room to shift things around.

Keep the pics coming

Bob.
