Definitely. Hippo's Frog sounds like exactly what you need. I cant remember his website right now, but I'm sure someone will.

Here's a picture of something kind of similar, with the motor behind the wing.

A delta with a fuselage pod to put the battery forward of the wing shouldn't be too difficult to get flying.

I've got an Electrajet that I flew for a while, then put away since it didn't perform (in stock form) as well as the bluecor foamies I was building. After I bought my first brushless motor, I was looking for a testbed and pulled the Electrajet out of storage. The climb, with a 3 cell Li-Po, was just unbelieveable after years of flying mainly direct drive speed 400's and speed 280's. With an 8x8 prop, it's a screamer (I'm a bit worried that the model might not hold up, and I have had control hinges coming loose), but trimming to compensate for the torque from the brushless and large prop can be a problem.

Try a search for the Pibros plans, scale them up a bit (maybe 45 inch span?), and add a battery pod to the nose.

Oops!

I was thinking simple to build, not simple to fly. The Frog would be a much better plane for a less experienced pilot, and I think they have been flown with the EPS350.

I think the website is

EWO's F-16 would fit the bill as well. Though only with Lipos. It couldn't happen the weight of an 8 pack of KAN nimhs.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...t=zizzi+boomer this uses a 9x7, mine was made for an ips drive but if you made the wing slightly longer you could easily put a eps 350 in it
