LOCATION Villa Maria (Cal Ripen Jr. Field)
Towson, MD (Baltimore area).
EVENT A full weekend of R/C hand-launch action. Man-on-man formatting. Contestants organized into random flight groups. Scores normalized by group and composition of flight groups will be changed every round. Food & beverages available on-site both days. Lite breakfast provided. Trophy for two day combined overall winner. Also the ECHLC is the first contest in which points are awarded toward the East Coast Quad contest series. EXTRAS Huge annual sailplane raffle! Bring your micro-HLG or e-power for flying during the lunch breaks! F3B, F3J, electric and open flying after the event both days (winches available). Excellent Fares on air travel with Southwest or US Airways via BWI Airport. The Baltimore Washington International Airport is approximately 27 miles from the ECHLC flying site. We have information on Air Travel to the ECHLC for you as well. BE THERE! The 2005 East Coast Hand Launch Classic! Join BASS for this annual event . AMA and Eastern Soaring League sanctioned. This contest has drawn contestants from throughout the United States. Plan to join us in 2005! REGISTER PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Registration deadline is April 28, 2005.
There will be a limit of 2 flyers per frequency! Register early and insure you can fly using your preferred frequency. Soon we will be listing frequencies currently used on
our frequency board.
