Hangar 9 40 size Piper Cub power ???
Just finished a Hangar 9 40 size Piper Cub. Installed an Astro Geared 15 with Superbox, 15x8 Electric Prop, Jeti 50 amp ESC and 12 cells. The Astro table says with 14 cells and a 15x8 prop it could pull 59 oz. Does my combo seem like it can pull it. I just want enough power for leisure flying and touch and goes. Well I will try it at lunch time and see what happens...

12 cells might be a bit light.
Here's a post with some H9 Cub info: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...threadid=31304
What does you're weigh?
Any idea how many amps you're drawing?
Which prop are you using? APC"E" would be 15x10.
Have you downloaded the 30 day sample of MotoCalc ( www.motocalc.com )?
Fortunatley you can got to a few more cells with the Jeti 500; BUT you must NOT use BEC!
The easiest way is to keep the Jeti switch off, and use a separate RX pack.
