They don;t lists specs or which models they go in, but they do like they may have potential for indoor flight.

I agree, they look like the BitCharger motors I got. I'm working on static tests of them and should be able to post results sometime next week. What's listed above is a 2.2, 2.6, and 1.0. I've found BitCharger motors in 2.2, 2.6, and 3.0 (the newest, which is what I'm testing). They do not appear to be coreless. And, instead of two pins sticking out the back, there is a small metal contact on the back bell that needs to be soldered to, and the best I could figure out for the other wire was to solder to the case. Ryan, is this what you did? I also don't know whether or not static suppression caps are required yet. Output shaft is 0.7mm, which is smaller than the 10t kenway pinions. The gear that comes with it is not 0.3mod. A Didel 12t pinion gear will work with just a dab of CA on the end to wick inside and fix it, otherwise it will soon start slipping. I don't know how many volts they will take, but at three volts with a 2.7:1 gearing like the standard KP-00 the motor gets really hot. It seems that BitCharger cars use either 2 NiCd's or 2 NiMH, since they sell a 2-cell extended running battery pack that looks very much like a 120x2 NiMH that we might use. Three volts will probably be ok with much higher gearing. It's worth keeping in mind that this motor weighs about 2.5g less than a M20.

Here's a quick preview (only got these Monday night). For the 3.0 geared 5:1 with a 4-3/8" Takeoff prop from Cloud 9, at 2 volts the thrust is 6.4g and amps are 0.56. For a 6.3x4.7 Wes CF prop and geared 15:1 at 2 volts the thrust is 8.8g and amps are 0.57. Direct drive with a U80 prop produces ony 2.0g thrus and pulls 0.72 amps, plus the motor gets hot.

The 2.2, 2.6 are cheaper via StellaHobbies on Ebay, or their direct email is stellamodels@netscape.net. I just ordered some more and the 2.2 cost $5 and 3.0 cost $8 (for quantity 5), plus $6 shipping from Hong Kong. They take PayPal. This is my second batch.

It looks to me that they might be pager sized motors. IMO
Take a look at Hobbico's website and they seem to be pretty small to fit in that car.

Ralph B found this other site that sells BitChargers and parts in this country http://www.marine-monsters.com/front...tchar-gg.html, except that they are out of the 3.0 motors right now. Prices are pretty good on the 3.0, but a little high on the 2.2. Look in the garage section of this page.

Those look exactly like the Bit Chargers motor I got from Tomy. If they are the same they only weigh like 1.2 grams

these look like they ARE bitchar-g's. look at the microsizers remote on their site, it's identical.
