Quick servo question

Hi! I am in the process of buildin a MM Cessna, than a MM switchback sport. My question is what servos should I use? I do NOT want GWS, and I have heard good things about Hitec. I went to hitecs site, and I do not know which servos I should use. Should I use the HS50's? 81's? I will probably use a Berg or JR reciever for both planes. Thank you!

(Yes I have searched for the answers!)

I have the Cesssna and have HS55s in it for about 3 years or so now. Work flawlessly.

Not sure about the SB, but I use HS56s (pert near the same size as the 55s but with karbonite gears, and ball bearings) in my planes in this size range. They are holding up just fine.

Thanks! I guess I'll go with 55's in the cessna, and 56's in the switchback but with a 55 rudder (Cost)

HS55's will do just fine. Why no GWS? I have GWS in most of my planes, and the only problem I ever encountered where of my own doing.

No GWS because my 2 picos are held together with duct tape, one had a connector that shorted, and I want to take no risks with kit built balsa planes. I was gentle with the sevos too, ther only abuse was flying on a SS. Their 4ch RX I have has tons of hits too. I just don't want to use them anymore.

PS: Where is a good online store to buy the sevos that you guys have had luck with? Thanks!

I use Bluebirds exclusively. 21 oz torque for the BMS-371 from Balsa Products, 4 for $52. Very good and the size of HS-55's.
