Slope pics from Yarnell, AZ
Here are a few pictures from a slope trip last Sunday to Yarnell AZ. It is a west facing mountain site with about a 1000' rise. Landings are in the parking lot behind the pilots or in bushes or rocks below. Mostly a foamie site but the experienced fly glass ships there. The lift can be unreal at times. We lucked out and had lift from 9:30 until we left at 5 PM. Incredible high speed flying was going on all day.

I throughly enjoy that box o' planes.
 And you weren't a kiddin about landing in the bushes either. It looks like someone is diving straight for that bush. Third row last column. LOL Josh |
