Bird Dog Plans

Does anyone know where i can find plans of a bird dog to make up a box fuse style plane. I am not after the profile style that thatovalguy has done as i am currently building a 60" version of that, rather i want the box style fuselage as i am wanting to make a 90" version and the and attempting a semi scale version.

Two sides and a top and bottom, doesn't sound to hard to do from the flat plate plans, in fact everyone that has built a full fuse just added the top and bottom. A box is simple.

I'd also be interested. The profile's are getting a little old. A boxed fuse would look really great.

There are plans for the Berkely L-19 on ebay most all the time. This is a 36" span, built-up wood airplane, that is capable of either rubber power or 1/2A gas power.
The structur is robust, and it would be a simple matter to scale up the plans to suit your needs.

Item number: 5962041524

Item number: 5962325409

The second listing is an RCM plan, that may be suitable, as well.

Hope this helps.

The easiest full fuse bird dog is to get ahold of the RC Microflight plan that ran about two years ago and blow it up....it is still on their archive.Move fast tho since it is rumored that they are shutting down.

Boxie Bodies

I use the technique from the SPAD builders. Go over here (http://www.spadtothebone.com/SPAD/) and look at the "SPADET LC 40" or "COROCUB" building files. You can uses these techniques and a little imagination for the FFF body.
