On 11x4.7 APC sf (either motor) and 1320 3 TP yellow stripe - very good setup - not really long runs but max draw is respectively 14 and 15 amps
thrust - 27 and 30 ounces respectively .


This is what you posted above. I just wanted to make sure that you have run the 20-20L with the ll-4.7 prop and actually got small current. I will be purchasing a whattmeter next for sure. Did you get more current with the 10-4.7?

I have both and run both - note--------- I am using the 1320 pack --on a 2100 pack the amps will go up
It is easy to get confused on this setup -simply because once you get into higher draw motors --the connectors and batteries limit the draw.
The 10x4.7 will draw less -always -on same type brand prop in this case, the APC SF.
On the big battery tho (2100 ) My friend who has same motor and big packs -suggested that the Electric prop (not slo fly ) would be better for smooth non flutter (safer ) running .
He is pulling amps in low 20's and thrust in mid 30's - I will have to await new batt and change connectors to big Deans before I get my own results .
Right now I am using polarized Deans plugs which are not good for the higher current -but fine for whare I am at the moment.

Kyna -that nice aluminum mount is a rear mount .
I use front mount setup -Idid not see that type on their site.

Just to clarify, a 10x4.7sf prop on a genII tp2100 3s pack pulls over 20A. On a GenII 3s pack of 1320's it will pull over 20A. Dick I think you are really stressing out your cells here and I don't advise going to an 11x4,7 sf prop. It is obvious that your cells are not up to task and a newer genII pack or higher c rated cells will have you reconsider your choice in props. I will meter a 11x4.7 an a 11x5.5e tonight, but I am sure the sf will pull close to 25A static and the e prop will be close to the same as the 10x4.7sf.

If you look at Post #34 - that's a Cobri mount, and I'm pretty sure the Hackers and the Torques have the same standard bolt pattern.

I just put one in an ultimate that weighs 11.7 Oz's all i can say is holy (put word of choice here) with an 11x3.8 prop and tp 1320 it draws 16 amps on a fresh pack hover at a 1/4 throttle this is amazing

Is it 16 amps at WOT on an 11x3.8? What is the recommended max amp draw? I am thinking about trading in an axi for an A20.

So is there a Hacker 20 series outrunner that is suited to slightly smaller planes? Like a Miss June etc?

I am using the small polarized Deans-which limit the current on this motor and until I put the 20L into next larger model -it will stay with the small connector.
The connectors are a resistor --as I proved when I did away with the big Deans a while back-simply because most of my stuff only needs 10 amps .
In watching the batteries -they are never stressed .
Assoon as I go over AUW of 14 ozs - I will be using the 2100's (TP yellow stripe) and big connectors
for now 28ozs thrust in a short burst is plenty.

I might have missed it, but which "one" do you have - please (everybody, except Dick who says 20L, which I can understand) specify whether it is 22L or 20L (or 34S, 30M, 26M) - just saying "it" is an A20 gets me confused.
