That's just downright obscene! You do realize I'm flying this thing on ~40 watts? You're talking about motors capable of about 150 watts each! Holy Doggie Doo!

This Baby moves out on the 280's , for a cargo plane , more than enough power unless you're going vertical , Hovering or other "non-scale" maneuvers..and Gene , you're right , so Quiet , unlike those snarling(1/2A like) 250's we've become accustomed to !!!!!!!! Nice !!!!

Ps , got into some thermals with the buzzards (Why do buzzards constantly circle over our field ????? ) C-47 went UP like elevator..... birds didn't seem to mind ??? Fun with nature!!!

I can't believe there isn't more interest in a C130 plan. I hope it catches on. Joe

Looks like a great paint scheme. I did a Google search, and came up with the one I did. I thought it looked the easiest, and made it obvious what I intended it to look like. I thought about doing a DC-3 version with Pan Am or Eastern, but the military just grabbed me

I'm axious to get more impressions. I'm not easily impressed, but I was very happy on the first takeoff with this one.

GENE, if I may I would like to ask 2 questions.

How do you do the wings? Roll or bend
Do you roll/bend parallel to the strait part of the LE or roll/bend parallel to the tapered part of the LE?

The wings are huge I don’t want to do them twice

Thanks

I roll them on my rounded countertop (workbench) edge, then temper them with a heat gun. This wing was done in one piece, since the 4% chamber is pretty low, you can coax the foam to bend for the break... Kind of stretching on the LE and TE, and squishing in the center.

I form the airfoil parallel with the LE. In this case, that was a judgement call, and I went for the tapered section. My concern was if I went with the straight section, the tips would be washed-in.

Had another great night at the soccer arena last night/this morning. Hope to have some video soon.
