Can I run Two Chargers off of (1) 12V regulated power supply?

I just ordered my first true 12V Regulated Power Supply, I was using an old computer power supply but it is about shot. I have two chargers to charge my Nimh & Lipo battery packs. My question is can I run both chargers (Hobbico QFC MKII & Prolux Lipo charger) of this one 12 Regulated power supply?

-Thanks-

Mike

Hi,

I don't know those specific chargers, but the answer is generally 'Yes', as long as the (total) current being pulled is within the capability of the 12V supply!

Cheers,

You can do that as long as you donít exceed the power supplies maximum current. I have a 45A 12V power supply with an ammeter and run three (sometimes 4) chargers off of it all the time.

The more the merrier, I have had 8 chargers , two Ham Radios , and a scanner all on mine at once. Perhaps I should mention that my standard run everything 12 volts here at the house is a 88 Ah AGM deep cycle gell cell which is trickle(?) charged (up to 45 A) as needed and maintained at 13.8 volts.
