Z-Planes fun P-40, Anyone have one?

I just bought a cartoon/fun P-40 profile kit from Z-Planes, and wondered if anyone else here on RC Groups has one?

Looks neat--do you have their website? I googled and couldn't locate it.

The site is: http://zplanes.com/

I think the kit is very new, maybe within the past couple months. It isn't even on their website. The reason I bought it is because Z-Planes was at a local swap meet last Saturday, and the plane looked neat. I talked to the owner for quite a long time, and the more I talked, the more I liked it. He had his there, so I could look at the finished product. It is a very high quality kit, slightly better than the E-Flite Tensor 4D. It has shock absorbing landing gear that can be flexed back without breaking, and the wheels are large in diameter. The surfaces come hinged, and it includes all hardware including dubro connectors. I think it's a neat plane. If you stay subscribed to this thread, I'll be posting more within about a month when it starts getting warm outside and I build the thing.

I WILL absolutely be posting the build here on RC Groups. It should be a great plane. About the warm weather, It was -3 yesterday morning, and right now it's 13 degrees. I really don't even want it to warm up for at least a month because I have an ice rink in my backyard and it's fun to skate. Oh well, it will have to melt sometime, and then comes flying season!

Met Stan the Z-Man at the big E-FLIOWA last Sept. He prop hung the P-40 right in front of a group of us, hands off--I wanted one. Stan indicated that this was a proto type and expected to be in production soon. Have called him off and on over the past few months and still waiting for info on purchasing one.

Buckwheat-

The notes I have on the back of Stans card says he is using a Himax 4100 short with a "C" drive swinging a 12x6 GWS prop on 3 cell TP 1320's (said 860's better). Now if I could only find someone that is selling this model.

Stan has a bunch of these in the works, I "had" one of the "Z Birds" until it got killed in a mid-air. I also got to fly a prototype at MidAmerica last summer and Stan was showing them off at the JR Indoor Fest in Columbus. Absolutely the easiest harrier I've ever seen. Just pull the nose up and drive it around with the rudder like a car. Perfectly stable, the only problem I had was keeping Stan's transmitter away from him - for some reason he thought he should be able to fly it.

The kit was $65, but like I said, it is of very high quality.
Stan was telling me about how stable it is, and after what you guys have said I believe it all now.
The motor is the Himaxx 2015-4100 and you put a 12x6 Eflite prop on the front.
You could put an outrunner on it but you would have to modify it like you do a Shockflyer so that the thrust line is directly down the center of the plane.
It has been starting to get slightly warmer around here and I will be buying a new radio soon so I will be building this plane in a couple weeks.
