I'm not sure if it has a protection circuit. Looks like it might.

Yep it as a circuit. These would probably work ok, I would recomend the qualcomms.

Electric Goldmine has 1100 mah Qualcomm Li-ions for $5.00,
#G4580,... Most of the cells are Panasonic CGR18650 with protection circuit. There are some Sony cells in this mix though, I'm not sure if they're better or not though.

Before you buy the battery, pls check you GWS gear drive or power system back side of packge or GWS web

to see how much current amps required, and show the bettary vendor, ask them to give a correct figure of their battery can match this application!

Yes, I have some of these packs, and they work. They are heavier than the QC830's.

QC830 = 53g
Audiovox 1000 = 86g
Sony/Panasonic 1360 = 87g

The current/voltage looks more like the Sony/Panasonics, since they are the same diameter. The weight is interesting. I measured twice, since I assumed they would be quite a bit lighter, but they are indeed almost the same. They are shorter by 3/8".

They worked well on my MiniMax, and LiteStik w/ J250, but not as well with the IPS, due to the extra weight.

Thanks guys. What sort of duration do they give Genebond? How's performance?

Does anyone know where to get a (cheap) suitable charger? I want Qualcomms but noone seems to ship to Europe.
