i have been reading this thread since febuary 05
is it really that long ago? !
i kept drop-ing in to see the developments,
but once i saw the 141% i was hooked !
words can not describe how much i enjoyed my flights today
its not about speed.. its not about thrust.. it was joy of control of the F16
learning how she reacts under different conditions
each RPV i learn to fly builds my skills
i imagine the 100% is faster and the 75% will be even faster too,
but my flights today will stay in my mind always,

Nice words Cadetman... I'm really looking forward to building a depron version of the F-16 normal wing'ed version!!

I'm off to town in a couple days and have already marked the route to get the shop that sells the depron!! I really should ring them to make sure they have 6mm in stock! Knowing my luck I'd rock up and they'd be out of stock!!

I thought about doing the 141% version but considering my old balsa XL which has the same fuse as the 100% version but in Balsa; it barely fitted in my car at that size so I'll stick with the 100% version!!

A4 Tiled for 100% Version

Dear all, Really fancy a go at this fabulous model. Found tiled plans on parkjets but seem to be for letter, are they available in A4 format so I can print and get going.

Thanks in advance

Hi plane_spotter,

the plans are for letter and A4 format. You only have to print the tiled
parts on 100%. The red rectangles are 18 x 26 cm.

Let me know, if it doesnt work for you!

LOL! Thanks Hans... Well I live about 800km away from melbourne - Perhaps I could meet you there!! LOL!! 800km is probably the width of Germany, but that's a stone's throw for us! I'm heading off to Adelaide later today and that'll be a 300km away, don't even spare a thought about it!

Just making my shopping list; I'm sure this has been mentioned here numerous times but I don't have the time to search for it, so if someone could please oblige and let me know...

What size and length is the CF rod used as the main wing brace/support?
And the size and length of the tail wing brace/support?
What spec. servo is recommeded for the elevator? (i.e. torque: 1kg/cm etc..)

And anything else I should be getting?

Im using ~4-5 mm carbon tube for the main wing and ~3,5 - 4 mm carbon tube for the tail wing/elevator. The carbon rods/tubes are all 1000mm length
when you buy it.

Two 9g servos for the ailerons and one 9g servo for the elevator.

Try to get a heat shrink sleeve for the canopy and a Y-wire for the aileron servos, uhu por/creative, epoxy.
