Midwest A4 Skyhawk
Yesterday i found at the local hobbystore a VERY old but also very nice kit from Midwest of a A4D Skyhawk. it's to be powered by a Cox IC engine and Cox fan. It has a very lightweight foam fuselage and wooden build-up wing. I took a quick look and it seemed possible to convert it to e-power. I was thinking of a WeMoTec Minifan and a hacker B40 brushless on 8 cells.
I searched the website of Midwest but couldn't find it anymore(no suprise because i think the kit is at least 20 years old). Does any e-zoner knows this kit and if so, has anyone ever seen it converted to e-power ?

I have converted it to E-power (photo can be seen at
I used a MF480 and a Velkom 480 motor. Unfortunately,
it was damaged during bungee-launch and I never recovered...
One Ezoner, Bob Ruff, has flown it on MF480 and Sp480.
