CNC Foam Cutter Update. Photos posted

I got the driver board and all of the cabling put together for my CNC foam cutter project. Putting the board together was not too bad. I had one hangup that took a few hours to resolve, but it was due a big mistake on my part.

I've posted photos and a little info here:

As I proceed with the project I'll try to add more information.

Very promising indeed. Have about a million questions. LOL But I'll wait for the finished product.

It doesn't emulate a printer. The software just accesses that port to comunicate with the board. You don't have to install any print drivers.

As for info in English, it's out there, just not as much as in French. Here's a site in english by Gilles Muller, author of the software:

http://gm.cnc.free.fr/index_en.html

Look near the bottom for "MM2001 documentation" for instructions in English on how to build the board.

You can also use a tranlator. I use the one on Google, but with technical jargon, it really gets messed up. You can usually get the jist of it, though.
