Pull/Pull System for r/c
I am interested in using a pull/pull system for rudder and elevator and would like to know if you should use a servo linked to a bellcrank to drive the cables (Spiderwire) or can you connect the pull/pull wires directly to the servo with out damaging the servo drive componets? Any drawings available?
Would appreciate any input.

I am probably doing all of the things that you should not do, but this is what I have on one plane:
43" Span, 48oz, AF 035G, 8 cell CP1700.
Using a standard HS 81 (plastic Gears) with spiderwire, 30# test tied directly to the servo arms, then crossed to make a proper exit from the plane to the rudder. I am even using a steerable tailwheel attached directly to the rudder.
I had to cut into the covering yesterday to tighten the lines up a bit, but have thus far never stripped a gear.
