speed 480 3.81 ratio box 2m sailplane which prop???
hello people,
I have found a 3.81 ratio gearbox for my speed 480 in my 2m sailplane. I'm wondering which prop to use, I'm not looking for pylon performance, just a decent climb rate. thanks rob |

4:1 if you can get it, and about 11x7 prop and 10 cells/3s LIPO.

Yes, that should be OK in short bursts. I keep forgetting you glider guiders whack the throttle open for 3 seconds and then spend the rest of the day drifting around
