Why Does this happen when I use my Orbital-Pro 6.3
Hi...What do you think might be the problem.
My Orbital-Pro 6.3 works 100% when I'm connected directly to a battery sorce. No problems.... But when I connect it to my MFJ 25 amp Switching power supply it shut 's the power supply down apone trying to turn on the Orbital-Pro 6.3 unit.? My Older Orbital 6.2 works fine it does'nt shut the power supply down at all... I'm a little confused here... The power supply if fairly new and it handels 25 amp with out sweating.... Hum, it seems like it's shutting my power supply down as if it were imediatly over loading it...? Any ideas..as this unit works fine when connected directly to a battery. Any help or suggestions would be great..Thanks.. James... |

Have you checked the output voltage of your power supply? If the voltage on the power supply isn't above a certain point, the charger may want to shut down.

Metal...yes I did I can even adjust it....I can go from 1volt to 18volts...I have it set at 13.8....
