DSP4SC and seperate ESC w/BEC

I recently purchased a Plantraco DSP4SC rcvr as it seemed a good choice for FFF planes and the Johnson mtr. Can anyone tell me if its OK to use a seperate ESC w/BEC with this rcvr. I want to use it with a Phoenix 10 Brushless controller. It would be the pits if I have to use 2 batt packs.

Separate Esc

Yes....

You can use this in conjunction with a PH10 and one battery pack.... Problem is it's a glitchy RX.
